2 Corinthians 8-13: Come Follow Me with Sam

   Welcome!

With my new calling in my unity, my normal time for writing my blog posts has been interrupted. Stake Conference was today so I'm making the most of it to catch up!  These will be short, but one day I plan to add more detail.

Top 3 things to think about in 2 Corinthians 8-13

1. 8:9

For ye know the agrace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was brich, yet for your sakes he became cpoor, that ye through his dpoverty might be rich.

Another one of those beautiful moments of the paradox of Christ and Christianity

2. 9:15

15 aThanks be unto God for his unspeakable bgift.

What a beautiful, simple phrase that can become such a ready thought in our daily prayers.

3. 13: 7-8

Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is ahonest, though we be as reprobates.

For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.

This is closing off a larger train of thought - what caught my attention here is Paul's focus on humble truth-seeking, despite the odds, despite the risks.
