 Welcome! I'm quite a bit behind my posts! This is tragic because Romans is arguably my favorite book from Paul (hebrews included) The doctrine is so rich. Unfortunately, I'm going to be brief. You can use these as jumping off points and comment below what else you find. I'm not sure I got Paul's exact meaning, but here is a thought exercise. Paul regularly quotes or is quoted of greek thought. Here I feel like he is saying 'I have learned from everyone, now I am here to proclaim an even greater message, the message of Jesus ...
