Romans 1-6 - Come Follow Me with Sam
Welcome! I'm quite a bit behind my posts! This is tragic because Romans is arguably my favorite book from Paul (hebrews included) The doctrine is so rich. Unfortunately, I'm going to be brief. You can use these as jumping off points and comment below what else you find. Some cool verses ch 1 14 I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the a Barbarians ; both to the wise, and to the unwise. 15 So, as much as in me is, I am a ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. 16 For I am not a ashamed of the b gospel of Christ: for it is the c power of God unto d salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. I'm not sure I got Paul's exact meaning, but here is a thought exercise. Paul regularly quotes or is quoted of greek thought. Here I feel like he is saying 'I have learned from everyone, now I am here to proclaim an even greater message, the message of Jesus ...
