check out verse 1 'I am not displeased with your coming this journey, notwithstanding your follies'. There is a lot to learn from this.

There is also a lot of comfort that God says, just focus on Zion, the rest is going to be okay.


Section 112

some other great verses in 2 and 3 - 'there have been some few things in thine heart and with thee with which I, the Lord was not well pleased'. Nevertheless, inasmuch as thou hast abased thyself thou shalt be exalted; therefore all thy sins are forgiven thee.


Section 113

Section 113 is another Q&A which I just love! my favorite is vs 7 and 8. There is an important principle. There are many who worship God in their own way across the world. The plea here, from Isaiah is that those people embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ full enough to enter into the order of His priesthood and have the fulness of power to accomplish His work on the earth. The strength of Zion is the Priesthood, the power of God manifest through His Order.


Section 114

Another very short section with a poignant lesson: sometimes its appropriate to drop everything to serve The Lord.

Acts 22-28 - come follow me with Sam!

 Welcome! Une drole d'Eglise Paul shows how the jewish 'church', their ecclesiastical organization and understanding, is in chaos  - the chief priest, guardian of the law is he who violates the law - the different sects are squabbling amongst themselves, in one moment more eager to persecute paul, in the next moment more eager to prosecute their adversaries' contrary ideas - 40 of them straight up swore an oath to murder. This is deeply badness shizam. - they describe the 'quietness' they so desire and that paul is a 'pestilent fellow' interrupting their serenity. Bonus! the Simple Gospel of the Way

 Am I writing a Gnostic text? I definitely titled this blog post like one. Maybe we should turn it over to the scholars and ask how close I got. Or maybe I'll be able to ask the gnostics one day. I'd like to share something I am calling the Simple Gospel of the Way. I'm sure many of you have been taught the gospels, the plan of salvation, or something similar to map your vector relation with God. Here is an approach that I hope helps. 1. We are separated from God. (Hopefully no surprises here.) Everything we do is to get back to Him. We are trying to close the separation. We are trying to become One with Him.
